Sun setting down on the sea floor,
Spreading its rays on sandy shore.
Me walking, watching my footprints,
Carving my name, on dusty thing.
My finger rolls inside the sand,
I lay to catch, in my hand,
Soothingly it flows away,
“No one can hold me long”, it says.
Smiling at it, I swept my palm,
Lying on milky wave, steady and calm.
Realizing, I grabbed it too hard
Wanted to carry it, a little far.
Patiently again,holding in two hands,
This time for a while and gladly it stands.
Keeping it aside, I gently smiled
Now, I know what you made me realized.
Certain things are momentary to cherish,
Enjoy the essence, till they perish.
Don’t go too hard and fast,
It just matter, how long they last!

Good Poem. Nice Thought.
Incidently, brushes a little with Anubandh’s next poem
(or vice-versa) that he showed me.
He said he will publish it in April (2 verses to go).
