The other day my dear friend was arguing about the social changes, the how-to-and-how-not-to, the MTV generation, the reality (freak) shows. I said, I have no doubt that we are basically animals, basically! No, I am not starting a philosophical thread and I don’t want you to judge me as preacher. The argument is counter-intuitive, yet logical. The whole philosophy and spirituality is a menace of self-fulfilling axioms, that not only keeps the ego awake, but also gives rise to opinionated society, with disgruntled sense of security!
No, I am not against these changes. I believe that this way, being animals, we put end to every argument as which way the society is moving. In reality, the society, a mere collection of humans with variable capacity to govern and let governed, is only good at doing 2 things: Create rules and Break them! Why we create rules? Because it marks a sense of security. Humans are forced to form a society by their natural instinct for survival and survival of their vanity, in so much as elephants. Honesty, humility, ethics! The society in turns creates the systems, laws, religions that ensures its own survival along with the participating members, the entire mankind, single member as a species!

Social security: A Myth
The society merely protects humans in turn to protect its own survival. But what is survival? We differ here on the grounds of the definition. The survival is not exclusively about endangering the existence, but it includes every vested interest that the humans ever had for personal growth. And here my friends, the security delves into the past and you are left to be compared with other congenial members of your community. The outcome: Am I good enough? Ego! With the eternal relationship between you and your society, you create and groom self-consciousness, the ego! The sense of wealth, material gain and other fetish including the one for green paper that controls virtually everything…well almost!
Again, the green paper transforms a weaker, meeker individual into a stronger member of society, ensuring the survival of the society. The society emphasizes his survival, putting him on the front row of every occasion. See! The aboriginal concept of society that warrantied the survival of each member of it, now only guarantees the survival of a few. The undermining function of the society thus becomes an overtly oppressive regime, leaving us no alternative but to sanctimoniously celebrate our existence. Ha!
The solution! Is there? Can you isolate the sense of survival from your name, your family name? We are different than animals, but not in terms of our physical wants and the expressions of it. We differ in accommodating the role of Mother Nature, when we try and undo it. To scientifically accomplish it, there are us, the 9-to-5ers, orkuters, facebookers and Wikipedians who take every attempt to peep in to the world with bifocal lenses! They understand it but can not resolve. They blog and put absurd names to their profiles, vindicating social harassment and pain, the “wild” way!
And then there are Punks!!!
